If I incorporate, am I protected, or do I still need insurance? I’ve talked to three friends and they all have different answers.

What is the difference between a corporation, an LLC, a partnership, and an LLP? How do I know which one to choose? Can’t I just get some forms off of the internet? Why do I need to see a lawyer for that?

We’ve been partners in this business for ten years without a single disagreement. I trust her and she trusts me. Why do we need a lawyer to prepare some agreement for us to sign? We have done just fine so far without anything in writing!

I’ve run this business just fine for twenty–five years, and now my ex–partner’s wife is telling me she has some different ideas about what to do. Can she do that to me?

What will happen to the business if I become disabled or when I die? None of the children seem interested in stepping in. What do I do?
