You Have Been Injured
You are in a car. You are stopped at a red light. You are minding your own business. You are whacked from behind.
You are in a store. They are having a sale. Their ad practically begs you to come in. You reach up to take the item off the shelf. The next thing you know, you are lying on the floor, A stack of boxes has fallen from the shelf and knocked you down.
You are in the driveway of your apartment building. It snowed last night, but stopped around midnight. You need to be at work by 8:00. The driveway has not been plowed. You slip in the snow and now your right knee wont support your weight.
Your mother is in a nursing home. You are paying them a lot of money to take care of her. She has fallen out of bed and broken her hip. It may be hard for her to recover from this. She was weak and confused before this even happened.
