The insurance company says mom’s long term care insurance only covers her in a nursing home. Mom wants to stay at home. When we bought the policy they led us to believe it covers her at home, too. Now, they will not pay if she is at home. Can they get away with doing that?

The driver who hit me has no insurance. I hurt my neck and back. My insurance company says they will not pay me uninsured motorist benefits because they don’t believe I really hurt my neck and back. They actually think I am exaggerating what happened to me. Can they get away with doing that?
